Fraternity Houses

Our fraternities are very similar to those in mundane universities or even the lodges and “houses” in fantasy schools like Hogwarts! We believe that people learn best when they're having FUN! Our fraternities are about making friends, associations, socializing and sharing on a personal level.

Our houses are based on the four traditional magickal elements, earth, air, fire and water. The 5th element is said to be Spirit. For our purposes Spirit is considered to be an invisible yet inseparable part of all four elements and so it is not shown as a distinct 5th house.

The House of Living Earth:

Members of this fraternity love and care for the earth. They tend to think of it and ALL its inhabitants as part of a living breathing entity that must be protected and cherished. Diversity is the key word with individuals who find their home in the house of The Living Earth. It’s a ‘live and let live’ philosophy at this fraternity.

This house appeals to people of a practical mind who are drawn to earthly magick involving the mysterious forces contained within plants, stones, animals and all forces of Nature. “Nature forces” go beyond the earth, of course, to include many other extraterrestrial factors such as the planetary influences we study in Astrology, for example.

The House of The Whispering Winds:

Members of this fraternity enjoy having emotional, mental and magickal freedom to roam. New concepts spur their imaginations and they love letting their spirit explore the world. They want to grasp and understand the inner workings of things, getting a ‘birds eye view’ whenever possible.

Their curiosity takes them everywhere, including places ‘beyond the veil’ of materiality itself. The unseen realms are the special province of the Whispering Winds as the ‘whispers’ also refer to the subtle messages we get from our ‘other’ spiritual senses.

The House of The Dragon Fire:

People who are drawn to the dragon fire like to get things done! Fire is a dynamic element that causes change and transformation. Fire, and its byproduct heat, make things happen. The affect of ‘dragon fire,’ a particularly hot and tenacious form of this element, can manifest in many positive ways. It can purify, separate the dross from gold, disinfect, cause hard metals to soften and be fashioned into beautiful jewelry. It can protect and defend. It lights our way and cooks our food.

On the negative side dragon fire can be used to destroy and cause ruin. It can terrify and intimidate, tear down useful structures and even incinerate its handlers. The challenge for those drawn to the dragon fire is to master its many uses and resist the temptation to abuse this wonderful power.

The House of The Eternal Waters:

Individuals who resonate with the Eternal Waters can draw from deep wells of inspiration and intuition. They can sense the great wisdom of versatility and resourcefulness. They have the innate ability to connect with other individuals in positive ways.

Eternal Waters people should never be underestimated because there’s more to them than meets the eye. There are secret eddies and currents that move beneath the surface and the rest of us do well to peer a bit deeper if we can.

Deep waters can be tempestuous and unpredictable but the challenge for individuals of this sort is to find ways to tame the raging storms and find inner balance.
